Terms of service
Last updated 27 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between ClientCarePlus and the business that subscribes to it. By creating a workspace, or using ClientCarePlus as part of one, you agree to them. Please read them with our privacy policy.
1. About these terms
ClientCarePlus is operated by Parneet Singh Batra (ABN 53 661 545 083), a sole trader in Victoria, Australia ("we", "us"). "You" means the business that subscribes, and "your team" means the people it invites into its workspace.
ClientCarePlus is for businesses. Whoever creates a workspace must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms for the business.
2. Your workspace and accounts
- Each person signs in with their own account. Keep your password private, and turn on two-step verification; you are responsible for what is done with your team's accounts.
- The workspace's Primary Owner and owners decide who is invited and what each role can do. Remove people who should no longer have access.
- Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think an account has been used without permission.
3. Plans, fees and payment
- Your plan and its price are shown in Settings → Billing. Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST, which is added to each invoice.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance, by card through Stripe, unless we agree another way with you in writing.
- If a payment fails, we will tell you. If the workspace is still unpaid after 14 days it becomes read-only, and after 30 days it is paused, until the account is paid. Nothing is deleted while it is paused.
- We may change our prices by giving you at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next billing period after the notice ends.
- Plan limits, such as users, storage and marketing emails a month, are part of your plan. If you go over them, we may ask you to move plans or add more.
4. Free trial
- A workspace you create yourself starts with a free 30-day trial of the Professional plan. No card is needed to start it.
- A free trial is for a business, signed up with its business email address, and there is one free trial per person.
- If you add a card during the trial, nothing is charged until the trial ends. Your first monthly payment is taken then.
- If the trial ends without a card, the workspace becomes read-only: your team can still sign in, view and export everything, and it opens again as soon as you choose a plan and pay. Nothing is deleted when a trial ends.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time by emailing [email protected]. Your subscription ends at the end of the period you have paid for, and we don't refund part-periods, except where the law requires it.
When a subscription ends, the workspace becomes read-only. It is closed after 30 days, and all its data is deleted after 90 days. Ask us before then if you would like a copy of your data.
We may end your subscription with 30 days' notice, or straight away if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
6. Your data
Everything your team puts into your workspace remains yours. You give us permission to store, process and send it only as needed to provide ClientCarePlus to you, and as our privacy policy describes.
You are responsible for your data and for having the right to use it: in particular, for collecting personal information lawfully, telling people how you use it, and meeting the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles where they apply to you.
We do not look inside your workspace except to provide the service, to fix a problem with your approval, in an emergency affecting customers (when we tell your Primary Owner straight away), or when the law requires us to.
7. Using ClientCarePlus properly
You and your team must not use ClientCarePlus to:
- send email to people who have not agreed to receive it, use bought or rented lists, or otherwise break the Spam Act 2003 (Cth);
- store or send anything unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- try to get into other workspaces or accounts, test or break our security, or get around plan limits or rate limits;
- overload the service, or copy, resell or reverse-engineer it.
To protect everyone's email delivery, we may pause a workspace's marketing emails, for example when too many addresses bounce, and resume them when the cause is fixed. We will tell the Primary Owner when we do.
If you break this section, we may suspend the workspace or the accounts involved. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
8. Email you send through ClientCarePlus
Marketing emails you send must be ones your contacts have agreed to receive. ClientCarePlus adds your business's name, postal address and an unsubscribe link to every one, and stops sending to people who unsubscribe or whose address bounces; you must not try to get around this.
One-to-one emails, invoices and appointment emails go from your business. If you connect your own mail server, its provider's terms also apply, and you are responsible for that server's settings.
9. Other services you connect
ClientCarePlus works with services such as Stripe (for card payments), Google and Microsoft (for signing in), and Meta (for Facebook and Instagram leads). When you connect one, its own terms apply between you and that provider. We aren't responsible for services we don't run, or for changes they make.
10. Availability and support
We work to keep ClientCarePlus available and secure, and we back up its database. From time to time we will need to take it offline for maintenance; where we can, we will do that outside Australian business hours and tell you beforehand.
We may improve or change features. If we remove something your team relies on, we will give reasonable notice.
Help is available in the help centre, and from our team at [email protected].
11. Our software
ClientCarePlus, its software and its content belong to us. You may use it for your business while you subscribe. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
12. Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes those guarantees or any other right you have that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Liability
To the extent the law allows:
- where a guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law can be limited, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again;
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, revenue or opportunities;
- our total liability to you for anything connected with ClientCarePlus is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You are responsible for claims against us that arise from the data you put into ClientCarePlus, or from emails you send through it, in breach of these terms or the law.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will email the owners of each workspace at least 30 days before a change that affects you takes effect. If you don't agree with a change, you can cancel before it does.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we agree to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the Commonwealth of Australia.
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
